Biography of Arshad Nadeem and his lifestyle

Do you know who is Arshad Nadeem, where form he belongs and what the Biography of Arshad Nadeem is? Arshad Nadeem is a Pakistani athlete, he played Olympic Games Pairs 2024 where he created the record for throw which recorded highest throw in history.

Arshad Nadeem becomes the most popular Pakistani Olympian after winning the gold medal, he created history by throwing 92.97 away in the Olympic Games in Paris 2024. He is the first Pakistani to qualify in the final and also he played in the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games where he couldn’t show satisfactory performance.

In the Olympic Games Pairs 2024, many players got a chance to win the gold medal but Arshad Nadeem’s hard and passion brought a proud moments for him and his the nation. He became more popular after winning the gold medal.

Indian Neeraj Chopra said in a statement about his performance “I couldn’t perform well as I should due to my groin injury he added that for three years I was not completely fit to work hard and my techniques and plans had failed as I thought”.

Biography of Arshad Nadeem

Arshad Nadeem was born on January 2, 1997, in Mian Channu, Punjab province. His native language is Punjabi and the family belongs to the Sukhera Rajput community. He was passionate about playing games in childhood, according to his father Arshad Nadeem was focused on the games he plays district-level cricket tournaments.

In 2015 he started competing in javelin competitions and after hard work he got a scholarship from World Athletics, through this scholarship he got the opportunity to train at the IAAF High Performance Training Center in Mauritius.

He won the bronze medal by throwing 76.33m away in 2017 at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Baku. In the qualification round of the Commonwealth Games, he did his best with a throw of 80.45m in April 2018.

Olympic Career from 2020

Nadeem started his career by playing his first debut in the 2020 Summer Olympics which were held in 2021 in Tokyo and he was the only first Pakistani to qualify for the Olympics. In a report his father said that Arshad Nadeem was not well-prepared and he hadn’t got any training from a professional trainer, he only prepared himself in society streets and at home.

His father added that he didn’t receive any financial support from the government side after the Tokyo Olympics 2021. He was ignored by cricket officials when he talked about difficulties and limited facilities for cricketers.

World Athletics Championship 2022

He represented the Pakistani in World Athletics Championship 2022 in Eugene, Oregon, United States. Before starting this championship, Nadeem started training under the supervision of coach Terseus Liebenberg. He threw 86.16m away in World Athletics Champions 2022 which was started in July of 2022.

Commonwealth Games 2022

The Commonwealth Games 2022 started in 2022, in this game Arshad Nadeem represented the country and won the gold medal for country and set the record of 90.18m with his throw. In this game, he was passionate to perform for country and make a different identification in Commonwealth Games.

Islamic Games 2022 (Gold Medal)

He won another gold medal after five days of Commonwealth 2022, in this session he broke the game record with his throw of 88.55m long. He become proud of Pakistan to represent the country in the World.

After these victories he faced different injuries and was ruled out from games, he tried to improve himself to join the leagues again with satisfactory performance and health conditions and finally, he played againin different leagues.

Silver Medal – World Athletics Championship 2023

He didn’t stop winning the medal, in the Worlds Athletics Championship he won the silver medal by securing the throw of 87.82m away. By winning the silver medal he qualified for Summer Olympics 2024. His efforts to achieve the high success for country.

Paris Olympics 2024

He become the first Pakistani athlete to qualify and win the Olympic gold medal with a historic throw of 92.97m. It is also noted that he had broken the record of Norwegian Andreas Thorkildesn of 90.57m throw.

After winning the gold medal Arshad Nadeem received cash rewards, a car, and more awards. Regarding his victory the prime minister of Pakistan held a ceremony at PM House, prime minister Shahbaz Sharif was rewarded with a cash price of Rs. 150 million.

The PM addressed in a ceremony that the road between F-9 & F-10 will be given the name of Arshad Nadeem due to his high performance in the Olympic games, in Paris. PM Shahbaz Sharif also announced a cash reward of Rs. 100 million for Arshad Nadeem’s coach and better training.

CM Punjab Visit Arshad Nadeem’s Home

Chief Minister of Punjab Maryam Nawaz has also visited Nadeem’s house in Milan Channu and congratulated him on his historical victory after 40 years. This not enough for Nadeem, the Punjab government has paid more cash prizes and luxury car to him on his victory.

According to the sources, CM Punjab rewarded him with a cheque of Rs. 100 million with a Honda car along with special car number PK 92. 97. Excluding this CM has issued a cheque of Rs. 5 million to his coach.

Governor Sindh Announced the Reward for Nadeem, he received many rewards after his success, the Sindh governor Kamran Tessori has also announced a reward of Rs. 20 million to Nadeem and congratulated him on his success.
