A 31st year old Dr Moumita Debnath found dead inside the seminar hall on college campus. She was postgraduate trainee at RG Kar Medical College in Kolkata. On dated 9 of August, the missing of her reported by colleagues.
As per sources the body of Dr. Moumita Debnath found at about 11:30Am in seminar hall, they received body with bleeding from mouth and genitals bleeding. After the medical check she declared dead, the incident has change the scenario. Lots of people come out from home for protest against murderer.
Dr Moumita Debnath Autopsy report
The Autopsy report revealed the fact of her death, in the report it is clearly told that she was raped and sexually touched by murderer. Furthermore in the report it is added that she was deep injured in left leg, lips, genitally, right hand, face and neck.
Additionally it is unveiled in the report that fingernails was found on face and neck which shows the she was pressured. Report finding shared with doctors and victim’s parents to show that this is gang rap. It is also mentioned in the report that the semen was found in the vaginal swab of her.
According to the sources the case of dr Moumita Debnath hand over to Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). Furthermore investigation handed to CBI after the order of Calcutta High Court.

Arrested Criminal
The Kolkata police arrested Sanjay Roy on 9th of August who were involved in the rap gang. As per police investigation about the Sanjay Roy, they found that he is the trainee boxer and relates to the higher official in the Kolkata police range.
Further investigation revealed that he has been married four times and he is known as “womaniser” and abuser. The police said that he accept his crime but another side, her mother said the he is being framed.
Reaction of Nation
After the murder of dr Moumita Debnath, the nation is on the road and protest to arrest the criminals. It is the nationwide protest, as per the recent news all doctors boycott from duty and will continue protest.
According to the media coverage, all medical community, student unions and the colleagues record the protest for justices and demand to ensure the security on campus. More than eight thousands doctors in Maharashtra state protest on 13th August.
It is the more dangerous for female students and it is the necessary to enhance the security or provide the safe environment for students so they can feel safe in colleges or hostels.
The Bharatiya Janata Parti have accused on the west Bangal government for the responsibility of this incident. On the social media it is sharing that she was a comedian spreading wrong propaganda against her character.
Across the country people are sorrowed on this incident and demand for justice with Dr. Moumita Debnath family. In different cities of India like, Delhi, Kolkata, others people came out from home and speak on injustice and murder of her.
