The revised MDCAT Test 2024 is to be conducted on the 8th of December 2024 as per the schedule of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), Sukkur. After failing to conduct the test securely – the Sindh has given task to IBA Sukkur to conduct the test and strongly manage the test papers and ensure it should not be leak again.
It is decided to retake the MDCAT test on 8th December through the IBA Sukkur University, the Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) is set test for Medical admission in any University of Pakistan. As per information, the test paper has leaked two-times before, this was conducted for 3rd time with the management of IBA Sukkur.
Previously, the MDCAT test was conducted on 22nd September 2024 but it was leaked on WhatsApp, and other social apps. Federal Board of Revenue has investigated about the people who are involved in this illegal work. FBR took action on the order of Sindh High Court (SHC). SHC issued an order regarding the leak of MDACT paper which sold out before the test day and richest peoples purchase it in thousands of rupees.
Why MDCAT Paper Out Again & Again?
The question is raising over the incompetence of Sindh government, in the education system of Sindh there’s no any satisfactory results you’ll get instead of other provisional education. But the most important MDCAT Test Paper which out many times not one – it only happened to corrupt officers and mismanagement of higher authorities.
When the paper was out last time, the Sindh High Court issued directives to test paper authorities and FBR to investigate why the paper was out and take legal action against the involved people. In this case, FBR had identified a person who shared the MDCAT paper in such groups and FBR had investigated their mobile phones.

After the investigation process, FBR was issued later to those students who passed the test with the highest marks, some students got 199 marks out of 200 and some got 198/200. Is it possible for any student? Maybe only a smaller number of students can get the highest marks, but in the MDCAT test the seen were different in that the test paper was out before the test time – it was out late at night.
What is MDCAT?
It is a Medical & Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT) which is conducted by PMDC (Pakistan Medical and Dental Council) in all Pakistan. Through this test, candidates are eligible to get admission in any medical college in Sindh. There are numerous fields in the medical sector – major science subjects are included in the test. Students have sufficient knowledge of Chemistry, Physics and Biology.
The test was also conducted out of countries like Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Canada, USA, Oman, Australia and other countries. For medical college admission, the passing ratio should be more than 65% (130 marks) while for dental college admission, the ratio should be 55% (110 marks) as per details.

With the fresh updates, the MDCAT Test 2024 is decided to take on 8th of December 2024 at mentioned venues. It is marked mandatory to have original CNIC card, test slip or matric, intermediate marksheet. Students will not be allowed in exam hall if they do not have original documents. The Vice-chancellor of IBA Sukkur Professor Dr. Asif Ahmed Sheikh focused on merit and transparency of tests.
Instructions and other information is clearly mentioned on candidate’s slip, avoid any misunderstanding and make sure to bring any original CNIC, Passport or bring matric and intermediate marksheet for ensures. IBA satisficed to conduct the test easily with their management efforts, the IBA already have taken many test through its STS testing service in Sindh.
PMDC Reaction
The news comes from reliable sources that the Pakistan Medical Council has decided to bring an e-assessment system for next year to develop a strong test-conducting service. A meeting consisting of seven members was held to argue to make a better more secure MDCAT test – committee members have distributed the tasks for each province’s authorities to identify the challenges, errors and transparency of tests with the support of information technology.
The meeting was held in Islamabad where the president of MDCAT Professor Dr. Rizwan Taj informed about the total number of registered candidates is 167,672 for 2024 test including Dubai, Saudi Arabia. President addressed the importance of the exam and take necessary changes and use technology to make it more effective.
The MDCAT test is set to be conducted in all of Pakistan according to the Sindh High Court order, it is a very sad moment for lower-class students who pay high fesses for MDCAT test preparation, face financial burdens to pass the test and qualify for the MDCAT test to become the doctor. It is the dream of every student who efforts to prepare himself and give financial burdens to his parents.
