The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has announced the news about Starlink Setlite Internet Service in Pakistan. The government’s efforts to bring high-speed internet to Pakistan aim to standardize the country, boost the IT sector, and achieve the targets.

According to the The News report, IT and Telecommunication Minister Shahza Fatima Khawaja has announced the good news that Pakistan is in touch with Elon Musk’s Starlink company to bring its internet service to the country.

She also informed the panel about the auction of the 5G spectrum in the upcoming year’s April month. However, she addressed the other issues in the IT sector and other challenges.

Starlink is a company of Tesla, X owner Elon Musk, recently the company launched its first Satellite Internet services which provides the fast speed internet everywhere around the world. Previously, we accessed the internet through cables likewise Sub Marine etc but Starling revolutionised the world through its digital Starlink internet service.

Based on the monthly plan subscriptions, the price is different for each plan-based MB. The 25 – 100MBs range plan, will cost $120 per month while the 40 to 220MBs plan cost is $140 – $500 per month.

The recent news shared by higher authorities has been decided to bring a bill regarding the fake news spreading on social media. In the bill, it will mention imposing a fine on a person who shares fake news regarding politics, and government departments. The Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has made a new announcement over the internet slow issue, spokesperson added that the new internet cable is under way to fast the internet service in Pakistan, the process will complete soon in few upcoming days.

When the internet highly slowed in Pakistan, on that time senior journalist Hamid Mir filed petition in court over the slow internet speed in country. He demand to release the authentic statement on slow internet from PTA to inform the nation. Later PTA spokesperson shared some irrelevant reasons of slow internet in country but no proved reason could not unveiled.
